Saturday afternoon saw a triumphant return to lacrosse for the As. The early morning rain clouds weren't the only blot on the horizon as we lost Sam Rogerson to injury, luckily Alan Stones stepped up and gave a very good performance between the sticks. At the back we played well with good talk and lots of turnovers won, many by new comer Jacob Brindle who had an excellent game and fitted in from the start. A special thanks goes to Luke Mills and Sam Wilks for playing pole, both very well.
Up front we scored most goals when there was good off ball movement, and quick passing.
Overall a very positive start to the new season. Hopefully availabilities, or lack of them, won't have too much of an affect going forward,
Bring on Cheadle As next week
