Brooklands U15 Red v Mellor U15

A thrilling hard fought match today at home when Brooklands took on a strong Mellor team.
In a low scoring first first half the visitors pulled out to a 4-8 lead at half time.
But determined not to let their heads drop, the home team dug deep and clawed their way back to 9-10 with a quarter left.
The final quarter saw Brooklands draw level and finally take the lead for the first time in the match.
A tense final five minutes, with the game on a knife edge, ended with Brooklands scoring two further, unanswered goals to win the match 13-10!
Coaches player of the match was Liv with a really strong game in mid field, who must have been run closely by Frankie.
Leading scorer on the day was Sienna with (5) goals and (2) assists.
Just behind her was Gabriella GH with 4 goals.
Keeping net was Emma A who pulled off no fewer than 10 saves to keep the visitors at bay!
